Refund policy
Thank you for shopping with 5085 Food Trading. Due to the nature of food products, our return and refund policy is designed to ensure food safety, quality, and compliance with applicable EU food safety regulations.
1. No Returns on Food Products
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns on food products, including but not limited to:

Perishable goods

Sealed food items that have been opened after delivery
This policy is in line with EU consumer law, which excludes perishable and sealed goods from the right of withdrawal.
2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
We are committed to delivering products in perfect condition. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and carry out the proper remedy. If you receive an item that is:

Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery through email with photographic evidence of the damage/s.
We are not responsible for delays, spoilage, or losses caused by customs inspections, carrier handling, or improper storage after delivery.

*Please note that damage claims submitted after more than 48 hours after delivery may not be accepted.
3. Expired or Quality Issues
If you believe a product has a quality or expiration issue upon arrival of delivery, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Each case will be reviewed individually.
4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used.

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after approval.

Shipping, handling, customs duties, and import fees are non-refundable, unless the issue is caused by our error.
- Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and a remedy has not been carried out, please contact us at 5085foodtrading@gmail.com.
5. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled only before they are shipped.

Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled or refunded unless there have been damages or quality issues upon delivery as stated above.
6. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to customs delays, strikes, transport disruptions, natural disasters, or regulatory actions.
